Recently I was in a garage and, while chatting with the 'Maistro' was eaten slowly by a pack of mosquitoes. When I interrupted our conversation to tell you that mosquitoes were bastards told me: "Yes, and it already cut all the grass." The truth can not remember what I said because I kept thinking "This guy does not know that the grass and mosquitoes do not have anything to do."
I think there are many people who think that mosquitoes are formed on the grass in the grass or plants, but it is not. The truth is that the main source of mosquitoes is standing water. I guess the mistaken belief is that where there is grass or plants is easy to form small pools, and that's where the water stagnates and where mosquitoes breed. If one wants to get rid of them, it is best to avoid water tanks outdoors. It is desirable that collects empty buckets and containers in the days of rain, mud puddles to dry, empty the plates that go under pots, etc.
But really: cut the grass or mowing the lawn does not serve to remove that annoying and exasperating plague.
