Saturday Night Live Christopher Lowell Show

González holdings and endorsements.

First of all I want to thank the people that I have expressed welcome to my blog recently. I am happy to know that although no one says anything (except Caesar, of course) there are people who read it.

Today's topic is off course the benevolent state government that makes those who pay promptly tenure as hated taxes and endorsement. Well, it's unfair to say that the discount is "supposed" because it is real, the discount exists, but is not as beautiful as he is painted.

The offer is tempting 15% discount if you pay in January, up 10% if paid in February yu 5% if paid in March, but do not say is that this percentage is calculated on the total amount of state taxes and not the total cost . Put it in numbers:

For example, consider a car Jetta 2007 model, which in 2009 has to cover the following:

Tenure federal: $ 3,234.13
Endorsement: $ 1,122.12
Plates: $ 561.06
contribution "voluntary" to the Red Cross $ 51.95
Total: $ 4969.16

Someone who pays in January expect a discount of

$ 4969.16 * 15 = $ 745.37 ,

would not be bad, but it is well. The timely taxpayer would subtract only 15% on taxes (endorsement and plates), ie

$ 1122.12 + $ 561.06 = $ 252.48

that is not so much discount ($ 492.89 less, to be exact). Whether one thinks that this discount is better than none and I'm a complainer, who will want to explain that state government can not make deductions on federal taxes, such as tenure, but we already know. I'm not judging. Only the talk, if you do not know.

Incidentally, if you have not gone to pay or to investigate how much to pay for that tax, damn it, they know they can do the consultation and even pay online (credit card, of course) on the Government website State, http://www.durango.gob.mx , or to click here .

Greetings.

Note: 20% discount for 1999 or earlier model year vehicles is estimated as only those models no longer pay tenure.
