Friends:
This year the Traveling Film Festival has included two documentaries that are extremely interesting,
Food, Inc.
How much of the food we buy at the supermarket and serve our families? In Food, Inc. Robert Kenner uncovers the truth about the food industry in America, and exposes a highly mechanized background, with the consent government, has remained hidden. The documentary reveals surprising and often shocking truths about what we eat and how it is produced, the cost to our health and how this wave of change is affecting the global food industry.
In the sixties, Richard O'Barry was the world's leading authority on dolphin training. Day after day, while working on the popular television show Flipper, O'Barry dolphins kept working and the audience smiling. But one day all led a tragic end. Bay tells the true and surprising story of how Psihoyos, O'Barry and an elite team of activists, filmmakers and divers embarked on a mission to penetrate a hidden cove in Japan and to reveal a dark and deadly secret. The mysteries they discovered are only the tip of the iceberg.
